Braden, a New Zealand native, spent several years traveling the world, shearing sheep and working as a fencing contractor in Southland, New Zealand, during his off-season. While shearing in Wyoming, he met his wife, who worked for a local shearing contractor in Kaycee, Wyoming. During this time, Braden noticed a need for high-quality fences in Wyoming.
After living in New Zealand, Braden and Kelsey moved back to Wyoming permanently to raise their young family. Since then, they have been operating Black Fern Fencing starting June 2022. They bring their knowledge and experience from New Zealand's best fencing practices, focusing on staff development and customer satisfaction.
